On-the-move IDPs need temporary housing

The homeless are building temporary shelters or small makeshift camps called IDP (internally displaced person) camps or refugee camps when forced from their homes. In preparation for the rainy season June-September we are donating flats of water-resistant leaves and bamboo for temporary structures to allow airflow but protect from downpours.

Your donation of $300 provides material for 1 house

"What do the children have for breakfast, lunch and dinner?"

"With eggs?"

"No, just rice with chili paste."

When we hear from the caretaker that the main diet of the children at his boarding home is plain rice, we want to help. We provide weekly Sunday meals with meat and veggie to children and youth at boarding homes to ensure they are getting the necessary nutrients to grow and thrive.
