Small hearts transform into mighty superheroes.
Little hearts filled with summer camp joy! Oooorr… The summer of the superheroes!
Earlier this year, during the April summer break in Thailand and Myanmar, our HUB team created an engaging week-long summer camp. Youth and children enjoyed the mind games, fitness challenges, songs, and activities to train and strengthen their brains, hearts and bodies. The camps offered the children of migrant farmers, those separated from families and living in boarding homes, and internally displaced children living IDP camps along the border after fleeing the war, a wek of fun this summer.
(Click to play the video) The "Jesus is Our Superhero" included Truth Talks (deep chats about life's questions), Mighty Muscles (physical training and games), Brain Boost (brain challenges) and Fashion Fun (themed costume design and fashion show). Of course, a delicious, nutritious lunch and snack was ialso a highlight for the campers! With your help, we also gave each student a camp-themed t-shirt.
